  : We enjoyed our 5 night stay very much. The chateau was wonderfully peaceful in its lovely park yet within an easy cycle trip to Nevers. We loved relaxing in and by the pool after our our days out. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.

  : The building is impressive and beautiful. Breakfast was good. Tea pot in the room was convenient.
  : Our room was very dusty, especially with a floor fan going (since there is no a/c) - we had to take allergy medicine right away. The room was infested with stink bugs - they were everywhere! The room was in general rather dark in person, if not to say gloomy. The sink with separate (scorching-) hot on one side and (ice-) cold on the other side water was extremely annoying and inconvenient, especially trying to shave. The chateau seems like it has seen better times (according to photographs) and is in need of care. It does not look like the photos show in person. Landscaping is needed. Updates inside are needed. Lobby smells right when you enter. The girl who met us when we came, and took the key when we left was nice, but we literally saw her twice. No one asked a single time how our stay was. We stayed at more caring places, more caring about both guests and the property. We expected more from such a beautiful chateau.
