  : Our host Koey was fantastic- he got us the latest praise so we could know what was in that week in New Orleans.Joey provided 6 beds in the living/ bedroom so we could spread our. He had a generously stocked fridge and freezer. I was also able to cook meals in the kitchen.So very close to the Algiers Point ferry fir a 7 minute ride to French Quartrer
  : The area looked a little rough a few blocks before we reached Joey’s home but then the actual area was quiet, safe and pretty.

  : Joey is a great host; very accommodating and great conversationalist! This listing is in Algiers Point, a historic neighborhood across the Mississippi River from the French Quarter and Downtown NOLA; it's a quick walk to the ferry and a quick drive to the bridge to get across to the main part of the city. The neighborhood is incredibly friendly and walkable with local coffee shops, grocery stores, and no tourist crowds. The house is beautiful, in good condition, and comfortable. There is a full kitchen with all the supplies we needed - Joey even had some food and drinks for us when we got there! Bathroom in good working condition. I absolutely loved sitting on the porch in the mornings and evenings and enjoying the serene neighborhood and the weather.
  : I stayed with seven other people and it wasn't entirely clear from the pictures that the beds were in several living spaces without bedrooms and doors. It worked out for our group because we know each other well, no one snores, and we didn't need privacy from each other but with a different group it could have been uncomfortable. Just something that's good to know before going!
