A former blacksmith’s shop in the seaside village of New Quay Oyster Cottage lies around 7 miles west of Aberaeron on the Ceredigion coast. Just 2 minutes’ walk from the beach the cottage has sea views and provides free WiFi. The master bedroom features an antique brass king-size bed and built-in wardrobe and is complemented by a second single bedroom and a twin bedroom with bunk beds. There is a bathroom with a double-ended bath and separate shower.

The cottage has a lounge with flat-screen TV a dining area and fully equipped kitchen with a range cooker microwave fridge freezer and dishwasher. There is also a patio with a barbecue and outdoor furniture. There is oil-fired central heating and linens towels and electricity are included. New Quay is close to many local cycling and walking routes and Oyster Cottage also provides storage for bikes.

: The location was perfect. Lovely and clean and spacious.
: The lock on the back door didn't work although there were two bolts so I didn't feel unsafe as such. There was no empty cupboards in the kitchen for our food supply's. There was not a scissors or pizza cutter. Overall we loved our stay and would def book again.

: Such a lovely cottage and bigger than it looks from the outside. It was perfect for our family of four and our young girls loved the bunk beds. Its a great location as its so close to the action but far enough that youre not disturbed from it. The decor is so nice and nautical and the furniture comfortable. It was clean throughout.
: The only thing is the front door doesnt feel very secure. The bottom bolt couldnt be used which meant in the wind it moved a lot creating a noise. Also, the fan in the bathroom downstairs doesnt work.

: A few minor niggles: spacious kitchen but no designated larder space. Locks on the bathroom door not working. Locks on the main doors (front and back) not very secure. No proper space to hang clothes in the main bedroom.
