  : The location of the flat is very good especially when you do trips by train. It's close to the train station. The beach is a 15 minute walk away. Shops like super markets, bakery etc. and restaurants are close by. The flat fulfils basic needs. The fan was a helpful item as in August during our stay, temperaturs did not fell below 24C during the night (flat does not have air-conditioning).
  : Although we told the landlord (company IMMOLOC) our time of arrival twice (at the time of booking and two days before arrival, in each case by email via Booking.com copying in an email address of the company), no one was waiting at the flat for handing over the key. While we were waiting in front of the flat, we received an email and an SMS asking when we will arrive. The young woman that turned up after 45 minutes was impolite and arrogant. Altogether, fhe flat was barely okay but had several issues: - Given the high rent for the flat, the bed was an imposition. It was a folding bed, sitting down on the bed cause that the bed squeaked and the lower end of the bed raised up - The shutter of the kitchen window could not be opened - The door of the balcony could not be locked. It was necessary to lower the shutter to avoid that the door could be opened from outside. - Light bulbs in sleeping/living room and in floor were not working - It was not clear where to dispose our waste (friendly housecleaner showed us the garbage bins in the basement of the apartment building, containers for glass bottles and paper can be found in Rue Alphonse Karr (opposite of the Lidl supermarket, i.e. 29 Rue Alphonse Karr). - The fridge in the kitchen produces a lot of heat, seems to be quite old.
