  : The property was well equipped with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. What a fabulous location? Beautifully quiet village with a few very friendly local amenities.
  : Considering the property came with its' own outdoor space we were very disappointed not to be able to use it. The back garden is in need of some significant TLC and the front does not give a good first impression. The double glazing has failed at the front of the property, which together with the windows being dirty was also a big shame. Additional time was given for cleaning given covid, but we still found hairs in the shower when we arrived and ash underneath the fire. It may well be the age of the property, but there were frequently slug/snail trails to be found in the living room. The conservatory again was an added bonus but the construct/panes are in need of cleaning in order to make sitting a pleasant experience. On street parking was fine, but wasn't always available outside the property; it was often a good walk away if you arrived back later in the day.

  : Good location in Norham village. Comfortable bed and very quiet location. Good WIFI in cottage connected to smart TV. Nice pub in the village for a drink and pub meals. Easy to get to the coast and nice walks from the village.
  : We did have to wash the cutlery and a couple of the pans upon arrival. They'd been through the dishwasher but sometimes that doesn't get everything off. Couldn't change the heating controls ourselves - had to call the owners if you wanted it changed which was a bit odd. Didn't bother us as it was fine but if you like control of your heating would have been annoying.

  : Spotlessly clean, comfortable including bed. Great for a dog. Everything you needed. Lovely new bathroom. One of the best weve stayed in.
  : Wasnt keen on sugar being left from previous guests since the sugar pot had old sugar crusted on the side. It wouldnt normally effect me as I never use left over sugar because you never know how long its been there but my husband tipped our sugar into it! Would have liked to be able to regulate the temperature myself without contacting the owner - I felt a bit guilty for wanting the heating on one afternoon that we were in! Would have liked to have been able to recycle glass bottles instead of bringing them home with me.All minor points but you did ask!

  : Good location, very comfortable, everything you needed in the cottage and nice and clean.
  : The garden could have been tidied up and although I fully appreciate the need for sanitisation in these current times, I feel that having to strip the bed, wash the towels etc, put out the rubbish and leave the windows open and on top of that be asked to leave by 10am and preferably earlier was a bit much.
