Quaint North Conway House with Spacious Deck

  : Very quaint property - makes it feel like a home away from home. The house, although older in decor and amenities, was very clean. There's tons of space on the first floor to gather and play games. TV is not very large and is starting to show some age, but it was fine for our needs. The fridge isn't huge, but can easily accommodate a weekend of groceries. The parking can fit 6 cars like mentioned in the listing, but it is under pine trees, so sap on your car may be a thing. The house is situated about 10 minutes from downtown North Conway and offers a nice neighborhood feel. This house states that it is pet-friendly, and it absolutely is - the yard is fenced in (but not well enough for a larger dog like a dane - it could easily clear the fence.) The property also does not show any signs of having animals on the property - no smell, completely clean. The fire pit is more like an oven, and not an open pit - but it's still good for roasting marshmallows. (There were a lot of trees down around the house this past year it looks like, so at this point there is a stack of firewood on the property.) Given the house itself, I would stay here again, but I'm weary due to the items mentioned in the next section.
  : Upon checking in, we noticed a few things out of place. First, the first floor toilet didn't work, so we immediately called the site contact - Doug. It's now one day after check out and we still haven't gotten a call back about him coming down to fix it. This is also true of the management company - Evolve. They don't provide a phone number, and they have yet to respond to my e-mail. Second, we needed air conditioning this past weekend, and there were no notes or anything about where to find the AC. After 2 sweaty days, we finally took a walk around back and noticed that there was a unit sticking out of the wall - the AC is hidden behind a tapestry and there are NO NOTES on how to find it. (It's across the room from the fireplace in case anyone might be reading this searching for answers.) Both showers drain very, very slowly. The beds are a variety of hardness/softness, so not everyone got a good night's sleep. While the bar area is cool, either the outlet or the fridge do not work at the bar. The property is currently listed as "Quaint North Conway House with Spacious Deck and Views" - the deck is not that spacious (comfortably fits 4-5 people) and the views are non-existent from the house.
