  : Good value, well-positioned apartment. We have previously stayed in a larger one upstairs but only needed a small one this time. The apartments have been refurbished to a generally high standard but see below. The 25 bus stop is just across the road.
  : The whole building really needs new windows. The existing ones are the originals, single-glazed, frames not in great condition, and only one opened in our apartment. We were comfortable in mild February weather, but very hot or very cold spells could be uncomfortable. The bedroom in Apartment 3 has very bright ceiling lights with the switch in the living room. It needs a pair of reading lights, possibly just small LEDs on goose-necks. The bed takes up almost the whole room - not a problem for us but one person has to climb across.

  : The apartment was on the top floor and there was no lift in the building, it made my family very inconvenient as I was travelling with elderly. It would be helpful to my stay if the host could tell which floor of the apartment is located during the booking process.

  : We had a guest arriving for a family event and wanted her to stay near our house. This was the best flat available near us.
  : Our guest was elderly. Nowhere in the booking did it state that the flat would be on the ground floor. This made our guest feel a bit unsafe as people can look in to the flat's kitchen. Furthermore, there is a staircase leading to the bedroom which is quite steep. Quite tasking for an elderly guest. Another point was the building entrance, you have to enter a code to enter but there's no light. We found ourselves fiddling with the phone lights etc. Not nice, especially when it's raining.

  : Very clean and when I emailed with problems they dealt with very quickly
  : I couldn't find the clotheshorse or hairdryer in the designated storage. 3 days in I found th clotheshorse under the bed but never found the hairdryer I would suggest that an inventory be taken of the basics be taken of the room confirming the equipment is where it should be.

  : The beds were lovely and it was so good to be able to have a warm bath in the evening. The flat was very clean and very well organised and it was great to have a carpark at the rear of the property. As I had lived on York Street for more than 22 years, the location was also absolutely perfect too. The bus stop being just opposite was so handy as were all the pubs, take-aways and Tesco express. A big thank you!
  : It was a shame that the windows were a bit old and so, not very ecofriendly.

  : Parking arrangements or lack there of could have been cleared in the ad. I think SOME of the apartments have an allocated space. Mine didn't, although I was able to park in the "alley" for all but one of the nights.
