: The area of Novales was lovely
: The apartment was dark with no windows only glass in the doors to the very small balcony. We were kept awake most of night by barking dogs and mewing cat. The 3 dogs were kept in a small compound which our bedroom looked onto and the cat was locked in a small shed and shutters only opened when we expressed our concerns over the caged "pets". The furniture was very tired and only 2 could sit in comfort. The beds we were told would be a double and a twin. This did not happen we were only offered bunk beds !!! We are in our 60's!!!. With no windows it was dark and hoping to read in the evening was an impossibility as the lights were so dark and dingy. We have stayed in many places in Northern Spain this year and this is the only one I have considered to complain about as it was one of the more expensive stays and a real disappointment. I struggled to stay in the place as I found it so tired dark and dingy.

: The location in a very peaceful , surrounded nature place
: The apartment is a rough and ready type. A balcony with no floor tiles cover but just a black heavy plastic covering an uneven , unsafe surface. The shower is a short plastic tube that is not long enough to reach its wall fitted holder. Bare kitchen facilities. Bed site tables without a lamp . The toilet cistern had to be hit side way to force the water to flow. I believe in my long experience as Self catering apartment user that this apartment should not be let for more than 60 per night. We paid 260 for two nights that is outrageous. Sorry about the staff ( family business) all so kind and helpful, but they need to learn how to present better standards accommodation.
