  : Location was good. Front desk staff was nice.
  : The room we checked in to was damp and smelled of mildew. Turned on the AC and it became a cold damp. Switched rooms, only to be in another room that was damp with a less mildewy smell but it was covered by air freshener in the hall. Dirty pillowcases, popcorn crumbs on the floor, a soda bottle cap on the floor, someone’s make up utensil wedged next to the microwave, stains on the carpet, paint chips on the floor, hair wrapped around the hairdryer, hair on the bathroom floor, mold and pubic hair in the toilet, and sticky finger marks all over the television. I went downstairs to ask Frontdesk to have housekeeping clean my room, got stuck in the elevator on the way down and had to be let out by maintenance, gave the hotel 4 1/2 half hours to clean my second room to which they never did and I checked out by 7:42 that night. Opened a case with Choice Hotels and also complained through booking.com to get a refund to which I still haven’t heard back from either party. Incredibly unprofessional and completely surprised at all the positive reviews for this place. Was I just unlucky twice in a row with two different rooms on two different floors? And I’d like to know where my refund is considering I’m on Camera checking in at 1:39 PM and checking out by 7:42 PM with my account noted that I had my room switched and the left due to uncleanliness.

  : Room was nice and clean. Easy walk to the beach across the street. Location was good and having a Denny's nearby made things easier for meal time. Having a movie theater nearby also was pretty great.

  : Beach, location, bay view from our room, availability for a spontaneous summer trip, I love the rooms that have a sofa bed too!
  : The curtains were very difficult to pull back. The ice machine in the hall was out of order. Sheets/bedding for the sofa bed were not available in the room/closet. I needed to go downstairs and get it. I think if there's a sofa-bed, just assume people want sheets in the room. Make it easier on your guests. I wish this location had free breakfast like most other Comfort Inns.
