  : Maria was an amazing host. She explained everything and helped us with booking excursions as well as restaurants. It was so nice to have an entire home for a small group of people. The hot tub was amazing after dinner with a glass of wine!

  : Quite dusty, dim lighting, felt a bit cold despite heating. Shame that we went in the off-season and the jacuzzi was not turned on for guests.

  : We were met at the drop off point and led to the accommodation and helped with luggage which was great, and then briefly shown around. The view was incredible and location in Oia made everything easy to access. Best sunset spot for sure, which did make it a target for other tourists to try to come onto the property to view the sunset instead of along the public pathways. Wifi was great which I appreciated as I still work online during holidays. Pressure in the showers wasnt always great, but it was ok (and sometimes perfectly fine) and water was hot enough quite quickly to enjoy. Take note to flush toilets carefully (and with no rubbish) and all will be well. We could easily imagine this mansion being a special place for the residing family over its long history.
  : Dont get me wrong, these did not ruin our stay at all - just some thoughts from our own experience. The top up of breakfast supplies had to be asked for and not just replenished every second day as explained during our arrival briefing. The property indicates breakfast included - but perhaps they should write some breakfast items supplied but not enough for full group and you have to cook it yourself. (Eg 6 eggs for 6 people and one 250g pack of bacon, 1L orange juice etc for two days - that means half an egg, 1 bacon rasher and around 85ml orange juice ration per person per day). This is fine, but just not what we expected as I understood that breakfast was included as per propertys own description and which, to me, means prepared and served for you. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar etc were all in reasonable proportions. Also not enough tableware (bowls, glasses etc - and many were chipped and cracked) for our 6 guests, one small serrated knife for all cooking prep - but we made do by washing and sharing with the next person during meals (Eg 4 glasses but one was cracked so we had only 3 left for 6 people. We showed the lovely housekeeper but I dont think it was understood). Just small things like no tea towel for drying dishes, we used bathroom hand towel. No ice tray to make our own ice as there was a freezer (so we had to go and buy a bag from the supermarket - which is only supplied a couple of days per week), no salt/pepper/olive oil was in stock for a self catering place which would reduce waste for ww purchases by each new guest group. We bought new condiments and left for the next group to share. I understand that they are just small things, and first world problems, but I guess it just goes with expectations from propertys own descriptions and tariff paid. Im sure easily checked and fixed so I dont expect these small things for the next groups staying.

  : We loved the location in Oia for sunset with the private rooftop viewing deck. It had the old world charm with the space and modern convenience we wanted.
  : The wi-fi was spotty in some rooms and the shower water pressure could be improved. It would be nice if the two surrounding properties were cleaned up and restored.
