  : The complex was good and well maintained, The apartment had a nice sea view, air-conditioning in each room and plenty of space.
  : A kettle and a bread knife would be advantageous. Difficult to leave the keys in the apartment and get out of the complex when leaving as a key is needed to get out the external gate. Better to return keys to locked box where they were originally found. While we were happy with the apartment itself, our stay was marred by an incident relating to the alarm in the apartment. We were not notified that there was an active alarm unit on the counter top in the kitchen. Nor were we given an alarm code. One evening the alarm unit was moved slightly when cleaning the counter and we thought nothing of it. Later an alarm went off in the apartment when my husband opened the front door. Having searched around we eventually found the alarm was coming from the unit in the kitchen. We could hear a voice looking for the alarm code to switch it off but we did not have it and explained we were renting the apartment. The woman on the speaker said she would contact the owner for the code. About an hour later, the door bell rang and we were expecting someone to fix the alarm for us. To our horror there were five police officers with batons at the door. They interrogated us asking who we were, how we got into the apartment, reviewed and took details of our passports, looked for a copy of our contract and took our mobile numbers. They said the owner said there should be nobody in the apartment. Eventually, the alarm was reset by the owner. This was a dreadful experience and ruined the remainder of the holiday. The alarm unit needs to be removed or relocated away from the kitchen counter as it is located in the main small preparation area. Tenants need to be advised there is an alarm and given the code to disable it.
