  : The hotel is very cute, typical of Greece. Perfect location a little outside the center, spacious room, all-you-can-eat and hearty breakfast.A warm and caring welcome.Little thought to Michael, the manager of the establishment, who was a love with us. An incredible person with the heart on the hand. See you soon in Mykonos :)

  : Room upgrade was very nice. Overall the hotel was nice but not amazing for the price point and location. See below for full details of our 'not-so-great' experience with San Marco Hotel.
  : - Asked for an early check-in months in advance as we were staying one night and wanted to enjoy our stay as long as possible, (I know this cannot be promised) but we arrived at 11AM and then were taken to our room at 4.30PM. The hotel was not full/busy but I note there were several large groups checking in/out that day.- When taken to the room, the room was still dirty. After back and forth with staff I was advised they would look into a room change/upgrade for us. I also asked for our bags to be taken to the new room as some were in the storage room and the dirty room I was taken to.- When we finally were taken to the new room (some 30-45 mins later), I asked "are all the bags in the new room?". They advised "yes, they are". When we arrived to the room, all the bags were not there.- I then asked for the remaining bags (from the dirty room) to be delivered to us ASAP. They were, but items were missing (as I had taken them out to get things from the bag, and I sat them on the bedside).- I then called the front desk to ask they were retrieved. I waited some time but decided to go to the front desk and when I asked for someone to take to me the room to get the items, I was told to wait. This infuriated me given the experience I had already paired with their lacklustre attempt at remedying the our experience, and demanded I was taken to the room now. I found the items and returned to my room.- The new room was great, very beautiful room with a great view. We ordered room service, it was not great but I decided that was enough complaining for one day.- On check out, I apologised for our frustration and thanked them for the upgrade. They apologised but was met with excuses like, "we were very busy with large groups hence the late check in and messy room". I did not say this at the time, but as a business you should ensure all customers are catered for, not just the large groups. Thus, I was not sympathetic.

  : As a family friendly hotel in Mykonos, the San Marco Hotel gets top marks! The location is perfect - a bit distant from the hustle and bustle and the noise but close enough to Mykonos Town which is a 15 minute bus ride. The hotel offers this service as a complimentary one which is really good - so top marks. And the salt water pool is a bonus. Special shout out to Michel Chrysakis who runs the hotel with empathy and passion to do the best for the guests. And also a big shout out to Vicky from the hotel reservation team who kept in touch with me before arrival to make sure our needs were catered for. And to the big man himself - Mr. Tsakanikas who owns the hotel and is still active in terms of its upkeep and attention to detail. I saw the passion personally and you couldnt help but get the feeling that the hotel is one of his children :-) Keep up the great work in making San Marco welcoming to one and all.
  : Some of the staff could do better, especially in the reception area. And if the breakfast spread could be improved in terms of choices; it becomes a bit boring if you stay longer than a couple of days.

  : The bed was not confortable as we asked for a king size bed and we found out that it was 2 single beds close together which was not really confortable.

  : A bit far, if not for the shuttle, would have been a pain to do back/forth from the beach.
