  : We had to leave 7.30am. Unfortunately nobody was up to pay, so left key and went. An hour later a very aggressive lady called saying she was going to call the police and that 'I give you 10 mins!' to send her my credit card details. I tried to calm the situation,saying I will pay by 'Booking'. I suggested paypal and it was resolved. Unnecessarily aggressive and accusatory. I even went back to hotel to pay but they had gone out. Not a "thanks for paying' Rien.

  : Pleasant hotel, good sized room, easy to find with parking on site and easy walking distance to the town.Nice swimming pool. Breakfast reasonable cost. Staff provided information so we could get into the parking and into our room before 5 pm.

  : Used this hotel before and it remained just as good. Would stay here again. Good room with en suite, good WiFi, good choice at breakfast.

  : Nothing much.
  : Not clean, quite shabby, and with the worst pillows imaginable. The bedside lights had to be pulled out of the walls to turn them off which is okay until you need to find the plug in the dark and get it into the socket... Towels were taken away each day, despite us leaving them hanging up which would normally indicate not to wash, and we saw no recycling facilities. The rooms sounded as if they were made of paper and the noise, especially at night, was unbelievable. We have never had to little rest or been so uncomfortable staying anywhere. Check in at 5pm is too late, (especially when the staff don't actually get there until after 5pm), and the car park is inaccessible until you have checked in and got a code. It's also not very safe to have to leave the car on the road, get out, punch in the code etc. when coming and going in the day but in the evening, the gate is wide open. This means anyone can walk in, walk right upstairs to the unlocked door, and be right outside your room. So, poor security. Speaking of safety, the pool is not at all child friendly so be warned - there's a couple of steps and then straight off into deep water. No shallow end at all. Breakfast wasn't good either.

  : The hotel was spotless and the food and staff were excellent the bed was comfortable and it was exactly as it was described in so many comments .. and very good value right in the heart of wine region and harvest in full flight .. and they have quite a selection of wine that you can buy also and a small food market ..
