  : The living room and game room couches were very comfortable! We really enjoyed the basketball game and the pool table.
  : When we first came in the house felt like a stuffy oven. It came as a surprise that there was no air conditioning. In the process of opening all the windows we saw how dirty the windows and the sills were. And we struggled to find the controls for the fans. It was a disappointing first impression. All this could have been different if the host would have prepared the house by opening windows and getting the fans running before we checked in. (The floor fans are not very effective in moving the air either- I would get more and higher quality). The porch furniture had 2 dead birds on it and the furniture feels dirty and old. The porches could’ve been a highlight for our stay but none of us wanted to sit on the furniture. Also, we were very disappointed that the 4th bedroom was in the garage. It also had a strange smell and very loud plumbing noises and bangs were coming from the bathroom so no one wanted to stay in that bedroom. We also all had some trouble sleeping because most of the windows in the bedrooms did not have shades. Overall this house has very good potential as a vacation rental. But it needs clean-up (including landscape) and up-date of outdoor space, better sleeping environment, and a little more attention to the host duties of making the space inviting and welcoming.
