: Our family of 4 ( kids aged 8 and 10) had a lovely ten day stay at the apartment. We had to pass the offices to pick up the keys so that was pretty easy and we got to speak to a helpful agent who gave us the lowdown on the area and the apartment. We left to go to the airport early in the morning before they opened so on the way back we conveniently just dropped the keys in the drop box outside the offices. Apartment was clean, comfortable and well equipped, everything worked and we loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the view. The pool was fantastic fun for the kids, you have to cross a quiet road to get to it but that was fine as we couldnt leave them unaccompanied in the pool anyway. My son enjoyed playing with his toys in the little garden adjacent to the block. You can walk to the nearest beach in about 15-20 mins with a shortcut if you take steps at the end of the road (the Beach is Golfet) its very pretty but with no facilities and its advisable to arrive by late morning to get a good spot in August. Its remote but a bit of a destination beach in the summer. We also loved Llfranc and Tamarui beaches which we drove to and they both had restaurants nearby. We did a lot of snorkelling. You can walk to Calella in about 20 -25 mins although it is uphill a bit on the way back. August was very busy in the town but as we ate out earlier than most diners we found it easy to get a table. It might be worth booking in advance if youre not an early eater or have dietary requirements. Loads of supermarkets in Parafrugell otherwise. The apartment is located in what felt like a safe and relaxed neighbourhood. We requested towels and sheets although we ended up washing the towels half way through the 10 days as they dont change them. It was good to have parking in the underground garage but in a big car you may struggle to get it in and out as it was a bit of a tight space, some people were parking on the road. Overall very happy with our stay.
: There were freestanding fans in the rooms but when we visited in august it was exceptionally (unexpectedly) hot at 39 degrees some nights and we could have done with air con or maybe a more powerful fan! Once the temperature dipped below 30 degrees it was much more bearable at night. We enjoyed sleeping with the windows open for the breeze! We really have no other negative comments, it was brilliant for us as a family of 4.
