Palm Beach Historic Hotel Petite Retreat 1 block to beach! New bed! Improved Internet!

  : The checkin clerk was fairly nice. Room had an iron.
  : I felt duped. I wanted to stay at the Palm Beach Historic Inn on S. County Rd. The place I actually stayed in has traditionally been called the Palm Beach Hotel not using the word Historic. I was surprised when I discovered the error. The room was pretty bad. There were small bugs near the coffee machine and in the shower. The room was quite small and the wall facing the bed was a mirror so when sitting in bed you have to look at yourself. bed was not very comfortable. would have been better to stay at a cheap hotel near the airport. After checkout, I asked to leave my luggage there for the day. they said I could leave it by the piano. Next to the piano there was a large sign saying it was at my own risk. Who does that??? In my experience, hotels always give you a secure place to leave your bags.

  : The hotel was located in a very nice area. Close to the beach and some restaurants.
  : No restaurant located inside the hotel as well as a pool bar. The hotel/Condo is very old and needs to be a little updated. Our room was super tiny and uncomfortable. Had an old smell to it.

  : Room had ROACHE!!! Sad read free parking, free parking is for 1 car and over 1/2 mile away.Room was a tiny 10x 10 room w a bed that did not fit 2 people smaller than a true full with no box springs.only stairs to access room no space for luggage

  : Very nice! Staff was great, and the room was clean. I loved the historic look of the hotel as well. The pool area was cool, and had a small garden to relax in along with a seating area by the street. The Publix right across the street was also a big plus.
  : The hotel lobby did smell a bit musty but that comes with the territory of older historic wood (the actual room smelled good though).
