  : simple check-in, it was nice to get champagne from the apartment owners :) just around the corner supermarket and taxi rank there have everything you need for cooking
  : only one small mirror in the toilet, need a big full-length mirror not enough space for clothes bed insulation, if the street is noisy, everything is audible in the room

  : Self catering apartment with everything necessary provided. Location excellent with many tourist attractions withing walking distance (Louvre was only about 100 mt away), Hop on, Hop off bus choices and stops around the corner, Supermarket (Monoprix) a few minutes walk away. Public transport options close by. We booked the shuttle service suggested by the host for an incoming transfer from the Gare du Nord Train Station to the apartment and later an outgoing trip from the apartment to the airport. Both transfers arrived early, were very helpful with the luggage and it gave us a satisfactory and smooth transition both ways with the driver ready and waiting at the designated time.
  : We were met by the host at the property, shown around and given instructions, keys, etc. Our biggest and main disappointment was that there was NO lift in the building to take us to the 1st floor, despite us having paperwork that stated that there WAS a lift. The online information and paperwork were very misleading as, due to a disability, we had ultimately chosen the apartment based on the fact that there WAS a lift. The minimum twice daily trips up and down the steep and narrow stairs were quite a challenge. We were not advised that the outside very large wooden gates/door were locked at a certain time each night. There was a keypad on the outside of the gates to gain entry but we were not informed of this or provided with the necessary code to be punched in to gain entry. It was necessary to disturb the building custodian who buzzed us in. The custodian gave us the keypad code the next we time we were locked out. We were also not advised that there was a button on the inside of the gate to open the pedestrian door to exit the building. The key from the courtyard into the apartment stairwell did not work very well at all and it was extremely difficult to get the key to turn in the lock. After a few days, after having no success opening the door, we again disturbed the custodian who, despite very little English, managed to explain to us that there was a definite "knack" to the lock, ie. the key needed to be lifted once it was inserted into the lock before it would turn. Not ideal but at least it worked. It would have been useful to know where to place our rubbish so we could move it out of the apartment. A second drape on the bedroom window would be beneficial as the one existing fitted drape did not cover the entire window. There were no instruction manuals for any appliances except the toaster. There was construction noise in the alleyway below our windows which began at 6.30/7am each morning.
