  : The night clerk was a charmer and treated us very well. Neighbourhood had decent restaurants that we could walk too. Rooms are older, but functional. For once, an elevator not requiring one to have been on Weight Watchers for 10 years -- and we are small people. There are several metro and bus options nearby. We walked to Denfert-Rochereau and took RER to Charles de Gaule after taxi company put us on hold for 5 mins. Fortunately we travel with just backpacks.
  : Some dust bunnies in room. Desk not always manned. We had to text to get in one afternoon after touristing and needing the loo! Fortunately the answer was immediate. While not the fault of the hotel, the current issue of bed bugs in Paris had us searching everywhere.

  : There was no room service as indicated on the site. No fresh towels and no toilet paper, the garbage wasn't emptied. They do not have a 24h reception desk, if there is nobody, the front door is locked - only a little paper indicates where to call. They'll tell you the code for the entrance door, but good luck if you don't know your numbers in French well.. Also, the room was really dirty, full of hairs, dust, and weird stains. The bathroom smelled mudy and moldy.Overall, really underwhelming and not worth the money.

  : It was an excellent deal for the price. We reached at midnight and left by 8.30 AM. It was inside the city yet close to where we wanted to go and is easy to go from there to catch the autoroute to Lyon.

  : The room is clean, the location is close to the metro and bus station, you can also walk to the attractions. The personal is great, really nice people.

  : The bathroom was clean!
  : It was a very small room. It had a small bed, and the bedsheets appeared clean/washed. However, I did not want to even know what the mattress underneath would look like. It was around 27 degrees Celsius at night, and there was no fan or air conditioning. The room had a small window, but it barely brought any cooling into the room. The window also seemed very easily accessible from the road, so I was definitely concerned about my safety and security while I was trying to fall asleep. The hallways leading to the room were dingy and smelly. They were narrow and dark, and you had to turn on the light every time you wanted to walk through. It's an old building with the old building smell. The building has an extremely loud elevator too. The washroom was clean. However, the shower did not have a shower door which made it difficult to shower and not have a massive puddle on the floor. There was an elderly gentleman at the front desk. He does not speak any English. Communication was not easy with him as he mumbled his French. Tried to use Google Translate to communicate. However, the gentleman rambled on in French as opposed to keeping his responses concise and easy to understand. I don't know if the gentleman was just having a bad day or if he's always like this. Tried to communicate with him through writing, but was also difficult as his printing was very messy. I'm sure he meant well, but we definitely were not best friends. He did not even speak a few words of English. Overall experience - it was like staying at a cheap motel.

  : The room is dirty, there is no duvet cover for a blanket, the blanket is dirty, dusty, the bed linen and towels are old, the table is dirty and sticky, the shower partition is leaking in the bathroom - water flows down to the floor, the shower is uncomfortable, it is impossible to swim under the fixed shower (you need to pick it up), the hairdryer does not work, the toilet is very high, the sound insulation of the room is low, there are no electrical outlets next to the bedside tables, the double bed is small
