  : The location was wonderful - within walking distance ( through green space ) of gare du lyon. You enter the hotel via a quiet courtyard so peaceful yet in the city centre. It is located in a lively area with great historical connections to scotland and ireland.
  : Very little. Only that my stay was too short but that was my fault.

  : The whole experience was lovely from the location to the very friendly but not over friendly staff. Everyone was most welcoming. The rooms were delightful without any modern technology like televisions to disturb your day. Breakfasts were substantial and delicious, adequate choice. A charming easy going place to rest after an energetic day in Paris. Would highly recommend.

  : Beautiful place, very good location for exploring the city, nearby metro station, Notre Dame is a 10 minute walk. Around the corner there is a lively square with loads of restaurants and bars.
  : Staff member wasn't really ready for his task. Forgot to tell about parking fee, charged the wrong amount for toerists under 18 and charged the breakfast to the wrong room. His colleague fixed this for us so it wasnt a big deal.

  : Excellent location --like a country house tucked away in the middle of town! Most rooms have a view of a lovely flower-filled garden. Super-clean & beds v comfortable. Dealt with a different person in reception every time but all were friendly, one going the extra mile by coming over to change a light bulb in my bedroom at 10 pm!
  : We had two rooms & no mirror in either, tho' there would have been room for one! Breakfast on the first morning took 40 mins to arrive but it was very busy & there seemed to be only one guy on duty

  : Breakfast was good but instead of set choices allowing people to pick individual items would have been preferred. Our room was a bit small but that was probably because of how I made my room request.

  : This hotel looks charming as is seen in the pictures. Nestled in a pretty garden et al. We were a family of 4 adults. The room we were allotted was on the second floor. That itself was pretty inconvenient considering that I have knee issues. Getting up and down the stairs was such a pain. But the front desk staff were kind enough to lug the four big suitcases up and down the stairs at check in and check out time. Our suitcases occupied most of the floor space so that we had to hop, skip and jump to move across the room or to go to the bathroom. No cleaning undertaken by the hotel except for guests who occupy the room for atleast a week. We were there for 5 nights. But no complimentary cleaning service. This is something totally unheard of. We had to pay to get our room cleaned. Location was super convenient. A farmer's market was closeby so also a supermarket. There were many restaurants round the corner. Charging points are almost at the ground level. Phew. Overall a not bad stay.

  : The outside sitting area was nice
  : There was no lobby, reception area, place to sit and relax outside of our room. Sitting outside in 50 degree weather with wind was not an option. There was no Kleenex in the room. The hall was run down with chipped wood. The room was not as pictured on the internetit was dreary. And, we were charged $343.00 euro for one night. We only stayed one night. I checked on the website and the whole week after the room rate was around 225 euro. I appealed to the manager/ ?, and even after 2 e-mails, I have heard nothing. We booked this room based on the pictures and reviews, but were very disappointed, as the pictures and reviews were misleading. If the rate had been lower, we might have felt somewhat differently. After looking again on the internet, there are many other hotels in the price range we paid that are nicer and have good locations. What we paid was not commensurate with what we experienced.
