  : The room was super clean, same goes for the bathroom, it wasn't a big room, but more than enough giving that we visited most of Paris during our staying.
  : I honestly don't think that'd be something, maybe a bit of renovation, but even so, the place is super clean and the staff is really really nice.

  : The location was great! Easy access to the subway! A good room and price for Paris, since Paris is a very expensive city! H
  : The stairs, the weird smell in the hallway, although it disappeared when you entered the room. Room was very small but what do you expect, its Paris after all, it did the job to sleep and shower! The deposit when you check in is never discussed when you book, IT SHOULD BE ADVERTISED LIKE THAT SO YOU ARE AWARE BEFOREHAND!!!!

  : The location was quite central and the area was fine (although it depends from which Metro station you exit and I don't recommend some of them after 9pm!). The room was clean as was the bathroom and bed linen and towels which was good and there was a kitchenette if I had wished to use it with pots and pans.
  : I had paid through Booking in advance and payment was taken a week before my arrival. When I arrived my payment card was requested to take a 'provisional' payment as the hotel owner's guarantee (against what was not explained). I explained I had already paid for the 2 nights I was staying, he explained there were local taxes I had to pay on arrival also (which was correct and I paid in cash) but the provisional card payment was never satisfactorily explained and wasn't mentioned on Booking at the time I reserved it. A pending payment for 1 night then remained on my credit card but thankfully disappeared after 10 days but could have triggered charges for me if I'd reached the card bill date. 75 is a lot to have hanging over you for something you didn't use but were pressured under circumstances to agree to without really knowing how it could be resolved if the third payment had been taken after leaving the country when Booking says you'd already paid! Just a thought and not an indictment of either Booking nor the hotel owner; but one of them had handled this wrongly.
