  : We booked this hotel purely because we had a handful of hours in Paris before returning to the UK early the next morning. Firstly, we had to walk with our heavy luggage from Gare de Lyon station literally in the middle of the night (around 01.00) because NONE of your Parisian taxi drivers deemed it a decent enough fare to take us in their car - appalling. When we did eventually get to the hotel the staff were nice enough, but I'm afraid to say that the young man we dealt with really couldn't speak much English and was quite hard to understand. I'm sorry to say that because it sounds rude, but if you're dealing with international guests the common language is going to be English and his was terrible. He also looked like he needed a few expressos to keep awake and didn't really know much. For instance, he didn't even know if the taxi we'd arranged via him the next day would take a card or not. He also seemed extremely confused when we asked if we could leave our bags somewhere for 20mins in the morning whilst we grabbed breakfast. Thank God I only booked one night and then we were gone.
