  : This is our, hmmm, 6th stay in Paris, first time ever at the apartment. For comparison, we have stayed earlier at Relais Christine, Europa Hotel etc. The location is very central - walking distance literally to everything. The owner (J.E.) is probably one of the most pleasant landlords ever - kept checking with us throughout our stay, allowed early check-in, arranged for (to die for!) dinner reservations, arranged for a taxi on the way back, accommodated “croissants to go” on daily basis, overall went above and beyond.The apartments themselves (we rented two diff ones as we are a family of 5) are rustic style, with modern shower amenities. Heating worked, hot water worked until all 5 of us decided to take showers one night (3 of us winding up with freezing water :), the street noise in one of the rooms did not bother us a bit. The other room was very quiet.J.E. provided morning and late afternoon access to the living room and a use of the fridge in the common area when required. Otherwise you should think about it as “apartment hotel” - there are either 5 or 6 apartments connected by a hallway. We literally heard nothing at night, but I can imagine if one gets noisy neighbors they might.As far as value for money in Paris - truly beats all expectations. And again J.E. himself is the reason to chose this place over all other options!
  : The rustic style of apartments, the (often creaking) hallway, the building are all anti-modern - but that is purely personal preference
