  : Really close to the train station Gare de l'Est and that was main reason for the stay, staff friendly and helpful and room clean and warm even though freezing cold outside
  : Stairs out of action so had to use the fire escape stair, this was very narrow and difficult to navigate with a small suitcase

  : We liked that Tim Hotel has an exceptionally good location in a calm street right next to the Gare de lEst, which was our TGV train destination. From Gare de lEst you could go anywhere by mtro.
  : We stayed at Tim Hotel once before in 2021 and we really liked it. It had an excellent location and rooms were appropriately clean and comfortable for the price. However this time we entered the street and were instantly humbled by how much dirtier it looked. We entered the hotel which was was apparently being renovated, but which just looked like a single construction site. Even the breakfast room was filled with laundry baskets and other things. When we were greeted at reception the employee didnt really speak good French or English, but was very polite nevertheless. However he didnt really seem to have much clue about the reservations in his hotel. We were given a room which belonged to other guests and upon entering we stumbled upon suitcases and a do not disturb sign. We went downstairs to the reception since pretty obviously this was not our room. The employee however seemed quite surprised there were people in that room and gave us what appeared to be the reserve hotel room. It was a lot smaller than the one we had last time, even though we payed a lot more than we did 2 years ago for the same kind of hotel room. However the worst thing was the bathroom. There seemed to be problems with the sewer pipes in the shower. Whatever the reason the smell was almost unbearable. It smelled like a mixture of sewer and unclean public toilet. The water tap was also partly broken and wobbled in a 80 degree angle whenever you wanted to use it. The toilet paper holder had apparently been ripped out of the wall and never replaced. Just staying in that room for more than a few minutes was extremely uncomfortable. We were very upset about having spent so much money on such disappointing lodgings and will very likely stay at another place next time were visiting Paris.

  : Location was nearby station
  : The room was too small in size. When I arrived there was a hot argument between reception and one of the guests and i had to wait for 20 minutes for check-in. Locality was not that good as expected.

  : Timhotel is at excellent location, the stuff was nice and friendly.
  : The heating wasn't working in our room, it was very cold. We contacted the stuff and they gave us a small heater.
