  : The owners/hosts never even introduced themselves. The property is in dire need of rehab. If we sat on the end of the bed the top of the bed flew up! The headboard had holes on it. No air conditioning and the controls were locked, all windows were not operational which is a fire hazard in and of itself since we were on the 2nd floor and the doorway at the end of the hall was a two story drop with no landng! The breakfast was cold and served when the owner got to it. And heaven forbid you needed accoutrements like butter for the waffles. You were locked out of even morning coffee until the owners unlocked the door - and mind you this was a self-serve station, The bathroom had a step up landing (I guess the raised floor - which was creaky - was built for plumbing as an add-on) with no nightlights so you either tried to sleep with the lights on or you stubbed your toes getting to the bathroom. If you like the kitschy hoarder look this place is for you. The pictures on the website must be the 1 or 2 nice rooms we never saw.
  : So disappointed that I booked this place for my husband's birthday and it was a total fail. Instead of spending nearly $300.00 we should have upgraded to a Motel 6. Not to mention the sheets were so threadbare and ripped I could actually put my fingers through the holes! I have pictures of all this. I have never written a negative review before but this place earned it. The only thing that could make this salvagable would be a full refund.

  : Beautiful Victorian decor throughout. Even the outside. Historical ruins next door.
  : Our bathroom had unfinished repairs. Spackle on a wall. There were many other rooms available. Perhaps we could have had a different room?
