  : Treats for the kids in the bedroom and drinks brought up to the room on arrival. Nice touch.
  : Service in the restaurant was extremely slow, we waited 45mins for a drink, the food wasnt great and my daughter had food poisoning, vomiting and cold sweats all night, meaning we had a poor sleep. The breakfast was very poor too, there was no eggs left and when I asked for more I was told it was coming it never did.

  : We were upgraded to a Junior Suite on arrival which had a huge balcony and a great room! Breakfast was good, if expensive, and the hotel location is central and on the edge of a beautiful park.
  : The meal in the Brasserie on our first evening was a disappointment. We'd travelled all day so ate early at 18h30 and were the only table in the restaurant. My main meal was luke warm, our cutlery wasn't replaced after starters, and the waiter was so unwelcoming and condescending (the tall / thin guy - not his colleague with the specs and ponytail) that we didn't eat there again, and it's the first time in 40 years that we didn't leave a tip for service.

  : The hotel is excellent in every respect. Comfortable, top quality service, good food, gym, lovely spa, pool, beautiful views over the park... A really high quality operation all round.
  : It was disappointing that we were not warned in advance about the super-aggressive noise coming from the music being performed nearby in the evenings and sometimes during the day at a festival at the Thtre de Verdure in the park nearby. I can understand why the hotel management chose not to mention it at the time of our reservation, as most likely we would have chosen an alternative place to stay rather than at this hotel. The auditory assault which continued until midnight on several evenings was excessive and scarcely tolerable, and seriously disturbed what was otherwise a delightful and restful stay. Future guests are strongly recommended to check the local events calendar before reserving, and I would recommend to the hotel management that they (a) warn guests of possible extremely loud noise and (b) campaign vigorously with the local authorities to have excessive noise curtailed or banned completely, in order to protect the business of this excellent hotel. It is hard to imagine that anyone paying 400 euros a night really appreciates having the windows of the bedroom rattled by a thumping bass beat which it is impossinle to avoid hearing and in fact feeling. People with heart conditions should sue !
