  : advertised as having resturant/bar/reception and outside seating. Had none of the above due , in the owners words "to fumigation"!!!!!!! STEER CLEAR!! refused any refund despite the basin tap coukld be lifted out of the basin hole, the shower door was broken, the shower leaked in three seperate places and there was no wi fi - apart from that Peniscola is Fab BUT DO NOT STAY HERE!!
  : Honesty !! IF it isnt available DO NOT advertise that it is!! And the support from BOOKING>COM was second to none - thats right NONE!!

  : This hotel is saved by its jacuzzi - if you have one of the two rooms with access. Clean with fresh smelling bedding. The views from the terrace are spectacular - towards the sea and the cobbled streets below.
  : Here's a list:Not everyone wants black espresso coffee in the morning. There was one pod each, no milk, no alternatives. No glasses. The terrace has a table and chairs. Why? You can't have anything to drink except your one black espresso - or water. Additional towels for the jacuzzi would be beneficial. We thought the room would be sound proof. Our room was underneath the jacuzzi. Lovely to hear it filtering ALL night ...In short the details are lacking. However our main issue was "check in". We arrived 8 minutes early after a 2 hour drive and were shouted at by a woman (the cleaner?) to return at 3. We did. Then ... When we did everything was a problem. At one point she said "Madre Mia, ellos no entienden nana - son ingleses." Now it's true - we're English. However my wife is bilingual - I am catching up! This woman was petulant, rude and kept shutting the hotel door in our faces. Eventually after she called the owner things finally sorted. That woman needs to be sent on some kind of customer relations course if she is to be the welcoming face of this hotel. Regarding the owner. No idea what he is like. Never met or saw him. Others have said he made breakfast for them. He couldn't be bothered for us? I read he's a nice man. I take that on trust! This could be an amazing hotel, but it seems to me the owner is relying on the position to make up for the shortfall in attention to detail.
