  : The location is stunning and the building has that cosy feel to it, the room was small but comfortable and the bathroom and shower was modern and roomy. The staff were helpful and the parking prior to check in was a real bonus, also the use of the pool and sauna was great. The breakfast for people without dietary requirements was fresh and tasty and the dining room classically decorated and warm with a nice view of the hills and surrounding village.
  : Due to a broken boiler at another hotel we moved our reservation and were given complimentary money off an evening meal at the Wordsworth. Due to my wife's gluten intolerance we did not eat at the hotel, as the provision for Gluten Free (GF) options was poor, and the staff had little or no understanding why we were not enticed to eat here, (even the chips weren't GF). The breakfast in the morning confirmed we had made the right choice to eat out as my wifes GF breakfast consisted of yougart and a plate of bacon, egg, and half a tomato. An evening menu that gives a fair range and clearly marked GF options (not just a list of allergens in the normal meal). And maybe the addition of GF bread/toast and seperate toaster at breakfast (as other hotels do) could easily resolve these issues to some degree.

  : Evening meals were good. Swimming pool was lovely, but no sauna...?
  : The child's bed in the family room. (mattress impossible to sleep on). The cooked breakfast looked like several times re-heated. Dog pee in the the corridor leading to the breakfast restaurant, no sauna, Library dirty, pool table dirty and nearly unusable as there were no cues to play with, no lobby, no restaurant... big disappointment comparing with our previous stays in this hotel.
