  : The staff member was pleasant and welcoming.
  : Many YHA provide breakfast these days. This one doesnt, apparently because the manager left. Yet there are posters on the wall advertising the cafe meals to enjoy while youre there. If youre walking then its a long way to the nearest town for food if youve not brought your own. The internal lock handle to my room was sitting on a shelf so the door could not be locked. I ended up fixing it myself. The door to the cycle store gets jammed on the ground and is thus difficult to open. Not specific to this YHA, but all, is the showers are tiny and there are no shelves to put toiletries. My room was adjacent to the walkway for all the campers and was noisy gravel so disturbed my sleep. My room was adjacent to the front door and people would slam the door shut after hours. Elsewhere in the building would be preferable. If youre offered room no. 1, say no thanks.
