  : There was no breakfast. We had tea bags and coffee mixes in the room and coffee pot etc to make our own and I think some packaged instant oatmeal and cups and some other random dishes in the room in a dresser near the bathroom wall. I think we were a bit confused overall with breakfast. I think I read online someplace breakfast was included with the room price. The most confusing aspect was the kind of random entries into the cabin by the owners. We rented the upstairs "deluxe suite" which only had a curtain on the top of the stairs separating our "unit" from the downstairs of the home which included the main door and the kitchen. For some reason we were just a bit surprised that about 7:30 in the morning we were woken up by some dishes moving around in the kitchen. We planned to sleep in. We have been traveling and lacking sleep. Why would we be woken up that early only to not be eating breakfast? We've never experienced that before on any stay at any B & B. Maybe the whole description needs to be cleared up as to what exactly the arrangement is for breakfast and privacy. I have read other reviews as well that guests are not clear on what to expect. This was definitely true for us. The owners were very nice/talkative, but I am one who really needs privacy and does not care for surprise entrances when I don't have a lock on my door while sleeping in the rented area. How would I even know who was downstairs without going down to see? Anyway, other than some stained wash cloths, opened up half used shampoo, conditioner in bathroom collections, the furnishings were nice/a little too soft but nice as far as clean. The TV didn't have Cable but we found something to watch. If it did have Cable, we could not figure out how to work all the remotes or channels on it. I guess overall I'd suggest replacing to newer bathroom towels, clothes and also discard any partially used bathroom trial size items.
  : We did not like being woken up at 7:30 AM at all. We planned to sleep in to at least 9am because we arrived late after 8:30 PM and did a lot of driving. We did not like the noisy air conditioner which seemed to malfunction about 6AM making it hotter to sleep. We fell asleep again with no blankets at all but then were woken up by the dishes moving around downstairs before we wanted to get up for the day. The furniture was too soft for our backs, but ok for most people perhaps, we just like firm couches, beds and we sunk down in both the couch and chair as well as the master bed which we never used due to it's high structure too hard to access and too soft of mattress. Most of all we were pretty disappointed with the uncertain breakfast situation. Conflicting info online about if it's included or not. Please make sure you let people know if you are entering the cabin and when before doing so. These days, anxiety is high with "surprise" door entry especially while we are sleeping. I dont think anyone else would enjoy that experience either.

  : Breakfast was fabulous and the hosts were very conscientious of our privacy. Nice area to walk around a little outside, cute fire area and grill out back. Linens were fresh, there were toiletries available in the shower. Everything we could have wanted!
  : There was some residue inside of the mugs, but we wiped it out without issue. Also, we couldn't find a trash can on the ground floor.
