  : The host was friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay with anything we needed. The property was clean and tidy. The pool was also very clean.
  : At times the wifi connection did not work, however this would be my only complaint as everything else was perfect!!

  : I stayed in Villa Tomasovic, with my brother for a night. We arrived late evening (between 10.30-11 pm) and when I called the host to let them know that we are running a bit late because of the traffic, they were very friendly and said to us not to worry. Overall, the room was very cute with a nice balcony looking at the pool and the Adriatic sea (which we requested and they were happy to offer). Also, the room was very clean. The beach, some bars, restaurants and a mini market were very close (within walking distance).
  : The main downside was the location- at least in our case. We arrived at Split Airport around 8.30 pm (on a Friday) and if you had to get public transport (two buses needed), you would need 1.30-2h to reach the Podstrana area. We had to get a taxi, and this experience was not nice as drivers would not approve of our journey because of the traffic to get there (it seemed as if they were unwilling to get outside of the city of Split because of that). In the end, the 1st taxi driver took us from Split Airport and then told us to order an Uber around 3km from the Villa Tomasovic (where he stopped), as he did not want to go through the traffic (which he said that he would pay for us, but he didn't in the end. Anyway, he was horrible- just be aware that there are these kinds of people as well). The journey was not easy while on top of everything we paid quite a lot for transport to get there (when I booked the place, I thought. that it would have been easier/closer to get there). Again, I am sharing our experience for those of you who might be staying for a little while in Podstrana and then travelling elsewhere in Croatia (e.g., the next day we were travelling to Hvar Island from Split Ferry Port). SOS: From our experience I would recommend to anyone staying in Villa Tomasovic, either to get public transport to reach the Villa (as the bus stop was 3' by foot from there) or arrange private transport in advance! What could be improved in terms of the room? The room apart from cooking utensils that had some included, could also have an iron, a hair dryer, and some shampoo/body shower samples (at least to use for the first night).

  : The Villa was nicely appointed and had an amazing ocean view. The property is so well maintained and very pretty. The pool was great (just a bit cold though at this time of year).

  : Clean and functional - 2 minutes walk to beach. Lovely owner - a very warm welcome with a beer! Very good value for money

  : The pool is a major plus, very good location, walking distance from the beach. Free parking available, very silent and close to a lot of useful places such as bars, restaurants and supermarkets. The owner is very nice and helpful.

  : Our hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. Apartment was spotless with large room and good size bathroom. Balcony with amazing views of the sea, kitchenette has all you need. Pool also good size with great views. Podstrana beach is less than 5 mins walk away, nice and quiet. Also a walk way on the beach for approx 7km which is great for sunsets
