  : Dimitra, the owner welcomed us and explained all the rules and presented the rooms, which was nice. Overall, we had a nice stay there, we were a bit disappointed in the beach, but the stay was good. We had a first floor room with a sea view, it was spacious enough and clean, air conditioned was free and started when we closed the balcony door ( made sense ). The room has mosquito net which is very useful at night since there are a lot of mosquitos around. We had shutters near the window and sun blockers outside the balcony in case you wanted to stay outside in the evening which is a big plus. Room has tv with few Greek channels, we found at some point some cartoons for the kids. Refrigerator came in handy for food we brought from home/ bought from supermarket, half a melon is fitting there without a problem. There is a sofa that is helpful if you have 1-2 kids ( it was ready when we arrived there) . There is a pastry below the place, owned by Dimitra which has pies and donuts and all sorts of cakes and ice cream ( is good but don`t overeat ) Sunbeds from the beach in front of Castro Deluxe are free, but you have to order something ( coffee / pastry) which is normal in Greece.
  : Few things : -when we arrived we parked in front of the hotel, however there was a parking court inside of Castro Deluxe, we weren`t told if we could park there or not, not even if we could pay for the parking ( it would`ve been easier since we had 2 kids and a lot of luggage), after that we saw other tourists that parked there, in the end it was ok since we left a lot for other beaches, but it would`ve been nice to park there at least when we arrived/ left . -when we entered the room, it was clean, but not everything ( for example the toilet had stains from the previous occupants, it didn`t seem sanitized at all, it was a problem for us since our youngest son just reaches the toilet and puts his hands all over) -the liquid soap is barely called a soap, it was colored water, it didn`t clean anything, we bought 2 liquid soaps from the supermarket and one of them ( Dove ) was replaced by the cleaning lady with another colored water. Things to have in mind for others: If you have the "luck" to be in a room with balcony besides the next door bathroom, you can enjoy a evening with "romantic" fart sounds/smells from the bathroom. Careful on the stairs, the cleaning lady cleans the floor and no signs of "wet floor", our friends kid slipped on it and hit the railing which concluded in a lot of bleeding. Although in the beginning we were told that cleaning is daily, it was "one day yes one day no" but we didn`t had a problem with that since we tried to keep it clean ( a broom would be good in the room ). No frying pan for the kitchenette.

  : Cleaning. Public space. Regarding the room - clean, equipped with bedlinen, cleaning was done once every 2 days.
  : It was stated in writing that sunbeds are provided free of charge. In fact, you are obliged to buy what the owner sells at 3-5 times the price. We were told about this condition only after we refused to buy their products. Since we refused, they demanded 6 Euros per day from us for sunbeds. The owner is very insistent and does not accept if your order is limited to water only. Our attempt to explain to her that it is only 09.00 and we do not need anything else in the morning was met with displeasure. The shortcoming of the camera - it is very small (here it is my fault, I should have been more attentive to the information about the surface). The kitchen is located on a space of, effectively, 1 meter wide and 50 cm deep. A 2-burner hob, tap and sink are placed on this space. Kitchenware - so poor, that nothing encourages you to prepare food (you only have a saucepan, glasses, cups, 3 plates, spoons, forks and a kitchen knife). The barbeque ad should be treated with the utmost caution - it doesn't come with the basics to prepare meat or fish or vegetables, and considering the minimalism of the kitchen, consider that barbeque is only declared as a marketing policy. In the 12 days I was there, only one person prepared fish once, then they gave up on the idea. I want to emphasize that, if it were not for the problem of misinformation about the conditions for using the sunbeds, as well as a less insistent attitude of the owner regarding consumption at the beach and, perhaps, a better equipped kitchen, everything would have been perfect. Otherwise, the owner, I must admit, works hard but working hard is not enough. Also read the reviews on google maps, because I have the impression that the ones on booking are moderated by the administrators.

  : We could not stay at the hotel since we had a problem with visa(we were driving from Germany to Turkey and booked 3 night) and we want to cancel our booking the day before. The owner did not want to cancel it because she said she can not find any customer in short time which was also plausible to me, i told her maybe for the other days she can find, she said noway. I contacted than booking support and they have contacted the hotel. The owner has called me afterwards and said, she is receiving pressure from booking.com to cancel the booking without any cost, but she did not want to do it since she has paid comission to booking.com already. She made a proposal, when we go back to Germany, we could stay there for free, i said this would be ok and we will drive back end of July, she said no problem and charged my money. Then after a while i contacted her again to secure the booking ( she did not reply my whatsapp message) , i called her and want to have my room for 3 nights, she directly said they are overbooked until september, we discussed on the phone and she ended the conservation and tell me arrange it with booking.comBooking.com did nothing about that, they always told they are verry sorry for this but they are not able to contact with the owner, maybe i can try it again with myself :) This was my last booking with booking.com, i am a genius member customer but not gonna use it anymore. Since they are working with such kind of unprofessional ametuer properties. I miss the old quality.
