: Margaret was a fantastic host and was like a mother to my wife and I. We were soaked going to the fairy pools, Margaret gave us paper towels to stuff in our boots and let us place them in the hot water cupboard to dry overnight. She also offered to wash our clothes when we enquired about laundry facilities. She dried, folded them and left them on our bed.Breakfast was amazing and our room was incredibly comfortable but Margaret was an absolute standout.
: During our stay, the road in and out of Portree would close after 7pm. Minor inconvenience.My wife had a bit of a sore back, her side of the bed may have had a small divot.Bathroom fan didn't work as the fuse had been removed. It was explained that guests would leave the bathroom switch on all night which would keep guests in other rooms awake due to proximity. Was a minor inconvenience especially with bathroom visits and a minor quirk in what was otherwise an excellent stay.
