: Located in an old priory and re-decorated by the new owners, le Prieur has a great atmosphere and a lot a of charm. It's friendly and caring staff makes you feel at home. I particularly loved having a mulled wine and playing board games after ski next to the fire in the lounge. Breakfast was excellent as well as diner. Indeed the restaurant is the best we tried in Pra-Loup : with traditional mountain recipes as raclettes, fondues, venison ragout, as well as excellent hamburgers and fries ! Good beds and great views from the bedrooms. Very practical location for skiing as the ski lift is accross the road and ski rentals next door.
: The only slight drawback is that you have to take your car to get to the resort center at night (3min drive), but to be honest no restaurant beats the quality of le Prieur's cuisine.

: The staff were very helpful, always willing to provide help and guidance. Special mention to the chef who would always go out his way to provide us with snacks and squeezed a table in for us (8 people) on a Saturday night. His breakfast spread had a good variety with produce being topped up constantly. The rooms were simple but effective and having the lounge space with the log fire to use was fantastic. We played cards there and watched the rugby on a big screen. Very close to the gondola for access to the ski slopes and there's equipment hire right next door to the hotel where you'll get a 10% discount if you mention you're staying at this hotel
: Our room, number 15 didn't have a proper shower. It had a corner bath and a shower head but you weren't able to stand without soaking the whole bathroom. Even installing a shower curtain could have improved this.

: Breakfast was basic but ok. Location has more charm than the ugly buildings higher up on the mountain in Pra-Loup. The rooms are small and old, but clean.
: This hotel is old and worn and poorly maintained. It needs a total renovation. We tried the restaurant the first evening, but both the food and atmosphere (including shouting in the kitchen) were a disappointment.
