  : The appartment is surprisingly huge and located in the city center, in walking distance from the train station, the national museum, the historic part of prague, a supermarket, and plenty more interesting things! While it is a bit old, everything was clean. It also offered an amazing amount of appliances (f.e. washing machine, hairdryer, iron, fridge, watercooker, gas stove, etc), all of which worked well. The bathtub takes a long time to fill, but is very comfy and the water from the hose is hot almost instantly! The kitchen has enough pots, plates, etc to cook proper somewhat simple meals. While the appartment (floors, toilet, etc) itself is visibly old, the beds, fridge, and washing machine (and some other things) looked rather new. The staff speaks good English and is polite and helpful. There is an elevator too (taking it felt a bit like an adventure, because it was unlike every elevator I had ever seen). You can hear in the appartment when it goes up and down, but at least to me it was not that loud. The big bed is very comfy. During the day, our appartment was ussually silent, I can't say too much about how quiet it was at night because I mostly heard my friends snore ;)The Ho(s)tel is located in a six story building, and only some rooms/appartments are part of it. Regular Residents live in the others.I enjoyed my stay there and would repeat it! It was a good (maybe a bit cold) home for the exploring the city.
  : The central heating worked, but was rather weak, so I would not recommend the appartment to people who get cold easily. While the big bed was very comfy, the one person beds had somewhat thin mattresses on a non flexible wood frame, so they were too uncomfortable for me (my friends thought they were okay though).It was a bit confusing to me that on the (ussually locked) reception door it says "if nobody is here call us at {number}, and on the signs in the appartment it says "if there's something really really important, only if it is really important, call us at {same number}".There very rarely was somebody at the reception, and certainly not everything I'd go to the reception for (for example recovering my gloves I had left there) is very very important, so it made me a bit insecure that one sign said "Yeah just call us" and the other one said "dont call us unless there are very special circumstances". I can fully understand not wanting to get called all the time for random stuff, though.

  : The location is superb, just a stone's throw away from Wenceslas Square. The room was clean and airy, and there are kitchen facilities in the hall.
  : We had no problems, but for others it is important to know that this was originally a family flat, so toilet, bath, and kitchen facilties are shared, and in the hallway. The flat itself was several storeys up, so if stairs are a problem or you need handicapped-accessible facilities, this is not an option.
