  : I had a horrible experience in Hotel Melantrich. It says that they have air conditioning on their page but they have only 2 rooms with air conditioning. It was 32 degree in Prague when I stayed and the room was boiling. I only could stay in the room for 2 hours and I had to leave because of the heat. Very old building and poor isolation. The shower was extremely small. Thw building is very old and there is no elevator to take your luggage’s upstairs. Very small reception area and restaurant. I stayed 3 more different hotels in Prague with similar prices and better quality also central. If you pay £80 for a room you can definitely get better hotels in city center. Also another thing they said they have reception till 7pm when I went down to reception around 6:45 there was no one there and one of the guests in the lobby area said rhe receptionist left early. Very unprofessional, poor service. You don’t feel like you are in a hotel it’s more like hostel.

  : The worst thing is that the hotel does not have an elevator, and yet it is located on three floors. There is no way to carry a suitcase on the stairs. It’s a pity that check-in is only open until 19:00, it causes a lot of difficulties, online check-in, searching for keys, a suitcase on the stairs leaves a bad impression. The hotel really looks like a hostel. Who gave 3 stars??? My impression was not helped by the cleanliness, comfortable bed and newly renovated bathrooms. finally, the hotel asked me to pay for late check-out as for a full day. In total, I was at the hotel from 20:00 to 20:00 the next day, the price was the same for 2 days, because the hotel rules suggest that the guest must leave the hotel at 10:30 the next day.

  : Location, location, location, suite 222 size (two separated bedrooms - excellent for a family of 5), breakfast (small buffet but very diverse), cleanliness, staff is nice, polite and efficient.
  : Kitchenette is not actually a kitchen but a large area for tea&coffee preparation, Melantrichova gets quite loud around midnight but they do provide earplugs, breakfast area is a bit stuffed&crampy
