: The location is fantastic, right on the beach. We swam every day. There are 2 large bedroom, each with a bathroom. Great towels and bed linen. We ordered quite a lot of food from the supermarket, delivered at the top of the steps up to the road .... veg and fruit were very fresh. Good communication from Stefano.
: Nothing in particular. Be aware buses can be crowded.

: Very clean, newly renovated apartment + wifi worked well. Landlord was very friendly and easily accessible. Peaceful and beautiful small fishing port. 3 good lunch / dinner restaurants on the shore.
: No breakfast possibility, only one grocery 1000 steep steps away (250 steps to road). Taxis were expensive, easiest way to move is by boat but rib-service working well.

: Getting to the property with luggage requires a boat ride from Amalfi, which you arrange in advance. The apartment manager/owner provided this at the beginning and end of our stay. Additional water taxi rides to Amalfi are 10E/pp. The alternative is to climb 315 stairs through the mountainside residential area to the highway. (The first time was hard because we did not know when it would end, but we got quite good at it and do not regret choosing an apartment on the beach. Anyone going to Amalfi should expect a lot of stairs.) The apartment is maybe 20m from the water's edge. There are three restaurants at the beach; we dined three times at two of them, and both were good. The clothes washer was broken when we arrived, but the manager/owner made sure it was fixed as quickly as possible. Staying on the beach was a unique experience. We are glad we did and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a respite from the tourists. The attached photos are views from the apartment, one of the beach restaurants, and the top of the stairs.
: I admit to being intimidated by the stairs at first, questioning whether I had lost my mind reserving this place. But as noted earlier, we got accustomed to it and at the end of the 4th day concluded that they were part of the charm rather than an impediment. Pack a flashlight in case you need to use the stairs after dark.
