  : Location, car park, play park, one female staff member was really lovely and went out of her way to try and solve the difficulties we were having as we could not get Internet to work.
  : We arrived early initially so asked just in case we could check in early, understandably they said they weren't ready. We then came back at 2.15pm (check in starts at 2pm) to check in and the person said they had forgotten, so needed to get the domestic to finish up. When we did go into the room, it was freezing and felt damp in there, there was wasps keep coming in and we realised there was a gap under door. We attempted to put heating on and it didn't work, so phoned and was told heating would come on at 3pm which it never did. The Internet didn't work so phoned again, lovely staff member tried lots of things to help to no avail. By this point I didn't want to phone again to say heating didn't work and wanted to enjoy prestine, so ended up buying hot water bottles and extra bedding. The main bed was really comfy, sofa bed was horrendous!! Breakfast was very limited. This may sound petty, but this was the final stop on our holiday and we have been staying at different places the last week which were cheaper and the facilities were nicer so that's why I am giving this feedback.

  : Breakfast was fresh and plenty to choose from .The picture on you website made us want to see the place .It couldnt look like ThAT old . It was a beautiful old building with lots of character and charm .Staff were friendly and helpful.location was a small town ,but worth a visit. Our bed was so comfy We wanted to take it home .
  : Nothing .You take it as it is an old building with history.And the people that own it are bringing it back to life.

  : This is a lovely hotel. Our room was large and with a great bathroom. Interesting history, comfortable beds and very friendly and helpful staff.

  : The mini kitchen in a cupboard in our garden room. The food in the bar was delicious.
  : Decor in room and in hotel could all do with a refresh. The settee in our room was very uncomfortable.

  : Lovely old black and white historic 17th century building. Good location with free parking and everything within easy walking distance in the town. Quaint wood panelled public bar and stylish dining room. Friendly staff.
  : Missed having the offer of a cooked breakfast.

  : Continental breakfast which was very nice. Very accommodating for us going in to breakfast early on first morning.
  : Very steep stairs to economy rooms at the top of the building. But of course the building is very old, so to be expected. Would have probably paid a bit extra to stay on a lower floor or in one of their garden rooms, had we been aware at the time of booking.

  : Delightful ancient building. Very friendly reception and bar staff. Located in the centre of the old part of town.
