  : I was able to be given a code to get into the room as was late to check in
  : I was charged twice for a one night stay, when I settled up in the morning they stated that payment through booking.com would not be taken out therefore i needed to pay, they lied and took both. I have repeatedly requested a refund, this has been refused. There was a kettle in the room, but could not be used as the only power point was not working.

  : No reply to a query about our arrival. Arrived to a hotel which was shuttered and no lights on. Advised through a phone call to make our way (adult and 12 year old child) down an unlit side street, through a security gate and up a back emergency staircase and into our room which was left open for us.(see image) This was all in the pitch dark! Proprietor had said he was in the toilet and couldn't come down.Room was fine, but there were no toiletries as advertised and the curtain was see-through so kind of useless.My phone was almost as big as the flat screen TV too! (see image) Tried to leave my key back on check out but was unclear where to do so, so I approached the bar area and tried to get a woman's attention but she walked by my twice ignoring the obvious key in my hand.Price was only value for money of you're willing to run the health and safety - free gauntlet of a dark emergency staircase entrance. If they had answered my initial query about check-in then we would have booked elsewhere if we knew that they couldn't accommodate a late check-in.

  : although lots of low-lifes, drug addicts, drunks roam or lay about the street.The shower is awful, no fixed shower or where you can hang the head, there us a "slide in hook" but does not fit current one. When you challenge the staff on this they are arrogant and belittering saying it just is the way it is, even when I remarked "wby put me in a room out of reach (#7) when hotel is empty except one other customer, you just get same arrogant, it is just the way it isIf you go out or come back in the hotel after 8pm the exit/entrance is through a long back of hotel steel stairway extremely low light (small inadequate solar power light) onto or from a not well lit side street. One feels geniunely uncomfortable, die to all the low-life charactersDare you see the staff in the pub (which is also the hotel reception booking in/out), after 8pm and try use the hotel stairs up (no lift) you get "barked" at by the staff to gi back and use the steel emergency outside stairsOt is one of the worst budget priced hotels I ever stsyed in, if not the worstThe outside seating cushiins are past the due-date!I was not about to try their breakfast in the morning
