Disappointing

  : I enjoyed the central location, breakfast was good, the third room we moved to was perfect for us and helped with our comfort level.
  : I was quite disappointed with multiple things during my stay. The first room was so noisy because of building construction going on right outside our window. The staff was friendly and helpful but we moved rooms twice and no one ever offered to help us with our stuff. The second room was better but still quite noisy and the hot tub had some kind of powdery layer all thru it and I did not realize it was there until it was floating on top of the water. At one point I asked the staff to clean the dog poop in front of the pool door and it was there until I left 1 week later. The third room was perfect for us as far as location and the set up. It was also much quieter. Then that night they were doing some kind of road repair all night which kept us awake. The next day they started pool construction. They blasted and drilled for two days and had to evacuate the entire hotel at one point. I asked to speak with a manager before we left because I was hoping that after spending over $2000 and staying for almost two weeks that they would be willing to let us stay one more nice to enjoy the pool when it was done. I felt that asking for an extra night wasn't unreasonable considering how little r&r we actually had during our stay. I don't know if they ever spoke to a manager or not but they gave me an extra hour to check out. Honestly, I feel like I did not receive what we paid for. I had some other pretty serious issues during our stay but if they had been a little quicker to accommodate I would have been perfectly content.
