  : The lobby was nice and big and clean. The room was spacoius, very nice and clean. The staff was nice...one member made me side eye something she did but other than that they were nice. I enjoyed the text messaging contact to check on their guests! More hotels need to adopt that idea. Calling down to the front desk for everything is not as ...immediate and its an old form of communication. Thanks Doubletree.
  : My family and I were there for a funeral of my uncle....we expected things to be convenient and smooth on what was to be such a nice hotel. I didn't like that only one elevator worked the two days we were there. That was awful waiting so long on ONE working elevator. I didnt like that the Ice machine was broken the whole time my family and I were there. That was pretty ridiculous. I didn't like that the pool was unaccessible. My family members wanted to relax in the pool during our grieving time since it appeared to be an option. It was warm enough but it was tied off for no one to get in. I didnt like when one hotel aide, a young lady with eyeglasses was kind enough to bring us fresh towels and I handed her some used towels in exchange...she took them but didn't put them on her cart, she left them on the floor outside our door. An hour or more later I see her on another side of the hotel working but my room was the only one that still had used towels outside our door on the floor. That was tacky so I bought the used towels back in our room. All she had to say was "you could leave them inside and I'll take them after checkout" or something. Someone needs to speak to her about that. That was a bit embarrassing to see used towels on the floor only at our room.
