iRooms - Spanish Steps

Traveller Type: Solo Traveler
  : Great location only a few blocks from the Spanish Steps and easily within walking distance of most attractions. Lots of restaurants in the surrounding blocks and Metro station around the corner. Room was pretty much as advertised.
  : Would have liked some furniture to store clothing during my three night stay. Front desk was only manned for a small portion of the day which made checking out trickle (although the staff accommodated my schedule via communication on WhatsApp.

  : Location is the best, and the breakfast is amazing.
  : The open bathtub included in the room isnt t practical and you cant take a normal shower. I had to cover and get out of the May to take a shower so as not to make the room wet. Not for families in this case.

  : Fantastic location, and wonderful staff, great place if you are travelling alone or with a partner for a weekend. We travelled as a family for four days, some got sick, and then you really miss the facilities you would normally have in a hotel suite, to which the price was comparable. Great food across the street.
  : The place is in a very old building, basically a part of a larger apartment turned into several rooms. Our room was small, has two small windows, and none of the comforts of a suite in a hotel, which would have been in the same price range. It opens out to a street with cars, which can be extremely challenging with a toddler. Great place to stay if you are single, or w +1, not as great for a family.

  : Stairs with suitcase, heavy door, room layout, bathroom shower sprayed all over skirting and skirting rotten. Smelled smoky.

  : Location was so central, a short walk to Spanish steps and beautiful restaurants right out the front! Good price for central Rome
  : No lift up the stairs! My mum just had hip surgery a few months before so stairs with luggage was hard & no help as it was self check in! The rooms were just ok! Its fine for one night ! Bed and cushions were so uncomfortable! Staff were friendly and helpful!

  : The irooms were in a great location near the Spanish steps and easy walking to the Trevi fountain. The units were located on the 1st floor and were lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. If needed there was an elevator that could be used.
  : Unfortunately the information on the booking confirmation about check-in is incorrect as they advised us via WhatsApp that there check-in was actually in the morning and asked us repeatedly what our arrival time would be (3-4pm) as they had someone "staying" to check us in which added some stress

  : Breakfast Restaurant just 15m across the road, very pleasant. The menu gives you a sandwich as well which we took with us for lunch! Location is excellent, 2 mins from Spanish Steps and 10 mins from Trevi Fountain. Area is upmarket with a lot of designer shops, Chanel, D +G etc and there are a lot of restaurants in the area. It is touristy and despite being October everywhere was pretty busy. We had a room at the back which was very quiet.
