Silicone, mould, rust etc. We needed a safe within the room and this was not available for either the first or second night. Strestfull for your documents. I had brief conversation, prior to leaving the premises with the owner, that the room could use a fresh coat of painting and full cleanup. His comment was he was poor!!! Perhaps you should downgrade the establishment to a 2 or 3 star

  : First of all, the location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. It's not super far from most big tourist attractions while still close to many really cute alleyways with restaurants. Reception was kind
  : A lot of little things that bring down a good hotel Our experience was soured by many little things, that would not really bother us individually, that sadly really added up. The bed was not that comfortable and bent inwards, so you both slide towards the middle throughout the night. The bathroom is very small, with shower heads that looked like they weren't really cleaned. The bubble bath was very nice, but it did keep making noise like the water didn't drain properly. There are a great many lights that you could turn on and off with little blue switches that can't be turned off, so the room isnt really that dark at night and we had to cover them up with clothes. Normally we would pull out the room card but it specifically says "do not touch" There's still a moderate amount of noise from the street, which is manageable, but we did wake up almost every night because one of the other guests decided to bring an infant that would scream and cry at 10pm, 3am, 6am etc... While the owner was very understanding and told us they talked to the other guests, there was ultimately not really anything that could be done for us. If there would've been a few minor inconveniences, it probably would have been a lovely hotel in the heart of Rome, sadly I do not think I would recommend this place to people who would like to have some rest after a busy day of exploring Rome, especially not since it's not necessarily a cheap one.
