  : The breakfast was great. The beds were comfortable. The room was big! The lobby area was clean and cozy. The pool was big! The staff was kind. The location for this hotel was perfect!
  : The mini split in our room didn't work well. I brought it to the front desk's attention twice. The 1st time he told me that it would take a while for it to catch up. The 2nd time he told me he would "call his guy." About 4 hours later "his guy" showed up, not in official uniform, took a look at it, went outside for 20 minutes and told me "it's doing a master reset. It won't get down to 58 in here like you have it set. The lowest it will get is 68. Other than that, it's working fine." It didn't even get down to 68. Other room's had mini splits that were working great. This one was barely enough to take the "edge" off of the heat. Disappointing when you pay that much for a room, and your amenities don't work. The other thing that I know happens often, but I don't think is right, is that they raised the rates for their rooms, knowing that there was going to be an influx of people coming to their town. So then when we got the "group rate" or "discount rate" it was the same rate as their everyday rates.
