  : When we arrived our gps could not locate the property which is approx 10 minutes walk from the nearest parking (Cannot park nearer to drop luggage as town itself is closed to vehicle entry & parking costs 1 Euro per hour 24hours a day - we had not been made aware of this cost). We had previously asked the property to send arrival instructions and Igor simply stated he would meet us at the property address (as listed by booking.com) & asked what time we anticipated our arrival (he apparently sent further arrival info a few hours prior to our arrival-we did not receive this however as we had already left our previous stay). As our phone navigator could not locate the exact location we spent approx. 2 hours searching Rovinj & after many enquiries with shop owners etc got help from the Tourist Info office. They called Igor on the phone & helped us locate the property on a map & advised Igor would be waiting outside for us.We found the property & also a very angry looking man standing outside. He said nothing but just glared at us & so I asked him if he was Igor. He said yes & I told him we had been unable to find the property with our navigator to which he replied bruskly he had sent us instructions. Then he went silent again & I had to ask him if he would show us the room. He showed us the room & asked if it was alright. No further information forthcoming. We were both quite shocked at his unpleasant, almost hostile reception which made us both very uncomfortable. He asked for our ID's and payment in cash so I said we were not comfortable with this reception and could we pay just for the first night (It was now about 5pm & we were not sure if we could find alternative accommodation at this short notice/hour & our cell phone had died). We had booked 3 nights at 140 Euro /night. he said we could stay 1 night for 280 Euro.
