  : it is a beautiful location. we were very late as a result of the Dover/Eurotunnel debacle. they were so helpful Kim making sure we got our beds for the night. sadly we missed dinner which from previous stays we know is amazing.

  : We liked the ambience and cleanliness of the room. The proprietor was very friendly during breakfast service. We were advised as to a good restaurant nearby and indeed it was very good. The room had old French shutters and an ambience of times past. This was a change from hotels found just off the autoroute .
  : As it was extremely hot, we would have benefitted from having a small fan in the room. As we needed a code to punch in at arrival, we did need a more explicit explanation as one step had been left out and we needed to phone the owner. Previously, a local gentleman helped to get us in but he did remind us of a slightly deranged Van Gogh character. in retrospect though, the whole experience gave us a unique experience to share with friends
