  : Balcony was nice.
  : Room was a little dirty. Hairs were all over the bathroom from the last guests. Bed was uncomfortable and we arent usually very picky. Kinda hot in the room and the ac had a min temp of 72. Our door would only work sometimes when we tried locking it.

  : The location was great. The facilities were dated and our suite was not clean. We couldn't walk barefooted on the boardwalks as they were terribly splintered. Locals hung out by the pool and the first night there was a fight! This place needs security guards! We had wristbands to show we were staying there but no one enforced the rules.
  : Get a security guard who will check armbands at the pools. Local teens were in the hot tub and no one could use it. Our unit had a bathroom vanity that was rotted through underneath. There were long hairs all over the tile floor-I have very short hair. For the cleaning fee, this place should have been cleaner.

  : Nothing, it was not what it appeared in the photos!
  : **** The pictures of the units shown on this site are not what we were given as a unit. We were shocked and disappointed!**** When we arrived there was nowhere to check in, no information regarding our reservation and no one answered their phone to assist us. I had to contact booking.com and they were able to get in touch with the property, who then called me. It was a check in disaster. The property works remotely from another location not even in St. Augustine, so there is no contact with the front desk or office. We were given our unit over the phone and check in codes to enter. The unit we were given was not what we reserved. We reserved an ocean view and received a parking lot view. The unit was small and of low quality. The baseboards and walls were dirty, the bathrooms had mold in the showers and the A/C filter was filthy. When we tried to contact the property again, no one answered so we had to call booking.com. For the 40 minutes that we were at the property, my daughter and I began to get a headache and we knew we could not stay at this property so we began looking for other options right away. I sent the Hibiscus a message since there was no one to speak with to tell them their unit was not acceptable. We were hoping that they could move us, but there was no customer support of any kind. They also charged us for the full stay even though we notified them that the unit was unacceptable. If anything their policy is 1 night charge. We in turn refused and disputed the charges to our card.

  : Very convenient spot to stay with young kids. Short, easy walks to the beach and the pools. Condo was very clean and quaint. The heated pool was awesome, and the other 2 pools seemed nice and clean too. Beautiful landscaping and grounds. Perfect for a family trip.
  : The mattresses and pillows in both bedrooms of our particular unit were very old and uncomfortable. We arent a usually picky with beds/sleeping on trips. We made it work but the first night it was difficult for everyone to sleep well.

  : I left some items behind by accident. Called about it. Never heard a word. Two brand new bathings suits still in packaging. You would think that they woudl have contacted me to return them.

  : The location was great. I liked having a washer and dryer. The boardwalk to the beach was helpful. My kids liked the pools. Someone called me the morning of arrival to give us the room number and code since we would be arriving late.
  : The room could use a deep clean more frequently. The ceiling fans were loaded with dust, the patio had debris all over it, baseboards were grimy. The feather pillows were too soft (do people really like those kinds of pillows- theyre everywhere). Lastly, the jacuzzi tub in the bedroom is unnecessary -there could have been 2 beds in that room (which is what we expected to get). The couch bed was like sleeping on the floor.

  : It was advertised as on the ocean but in fact was in a building at the back of the resort with no real view of the ocean. It did not have access to the ocean from the unit.Also, a 3rd floor unit with no elevator. The guest bathroom was out of order.
