  : Storage heaters hadn't been turned on previous to our arrival, it made the first night very cold. Not what I would expect.

  : Perfect location, super views, a minutes walk to shops, pubs and restaurants. Great to sit in the window and listen to and watch the sea. Also reserved parking which was great.
  : A review of two halves. perfect location but .We had no heating. When we arrived the property was really cold. We realised that the property had night storage heaters so we needed to wait overnight. There was a small electric heater which we plugged in but clearly not powerful enough to heat the whole apartment. In the morning I phoned to say that the night storage wasnt working. Sykes were very helpful and contacted the Housekeeper who delivered 2 fan heaters early evening. Unfortunately these had such little power they were not efficient. The housekeeper agreed that she would call someone to look at the heating but as it was new years there was no sign of anyone. We wanted to access the spare room to get extra quilts to keep warm but the door wouldnt open - it wasnt locked just stuck shut. The hairdryer also ground to a halt and there was a strong smell of burning from it. The shower also needs some attention to remove discoloured grout and replacement runners on the shower door which is only supported by the top hinges therefore very wobbly doors. We did not expect any of these issues when we paid a significant amount of money to stay in this property.
