  : The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good as French standard
  : Really hated that room. All hotels were booked and I choose La Maison Douce however I was very disappointed with my room. Firstly they gave me a room with no window downstairs which I refused. The room they gave me was terrible. It was damp and it smelled musky as it is an old place. I just couldn't sleep for the 3 nights I was there. it was stuffy and musky and smelly. Could not open the window as was downstairs. I came back from a cruise and my room stunk.!!!! Sorry I could not explain in other words. Apparently it is due to the tide coming and going. I complained to the reception and although I paid my bill, I feel it was overcharged for what I was given. I am writing to them to get some refund.

  : Booked a suite, v spacious.beautifully decorated,had a bath and shower. Didnt have breakfast. No lift but reception kindly carried suitcase up one flight.
  : Poor communication on parking, I know the area and its full of one way streets but Google maps were not helpful, I understand the hotel knows this. There is a bollard on their street you need a code to get in if you want to drop off your case, the hotel calls it a terminal. Parking is 800 meters away approximately.
