  : Regardless of its rating, the price we paid was really good value for money. The room and bathroom were good sized. Our room was well presented and freshly painted, and it was very warm despite a cold weather outside. The hotel is within walkable distance from the centre. The staff were making a good effort to be helpful. Our room was very clean, and cleaned daily.
  : This is neither a 4-star nor a "boutique" hotel, as is advertised. It is more like a Bed & Breakfast type of accommodation. Some rooms seem to have doors right in the sitting area. There was some noise by people passing by making their way to the sitting area and kitchen. Most staff (3 out of 4 we met) couldn't really communicate in English. When we left out bags to be kept at the hotel for a few hours, they were stored in a room that looked like a laundry room. Breakfast was freshly made but not very good.

  : Room LOFT design is amazing. Extremely high ceilling, freshly renovated room with huge window, aircon and well equipped bathroom with toiletries, bathrobe and slippers. Ok beds and smart TV, so you can watch YouTube instead of Russian TV Channels.Very central location on one of the busiest streets in Saint Petersburg.Good price/Quality ratio for the area if you dont count on their breakfast.
  : Windows towards busy street with traffic 24/7 and bad isolation. Keep it closed and you will still hear cars passing by. This hotel is a typical "Communal living space from USSR times", which means very thin walls all rooms placed around common dining area. When neighbour room guests came from pub crawl at 3 AM I could hear every single word of their conversation.The owner is very hospitable and would go extra mile if you meet her. Unfortunately this does not transfer the the rest of the staff, who are not as happy about your presence.Previous reviews mentioned "Amazing Breakfast". For the 2 nights we stayed, breakfast was far from "Amazing". On our first morning: A lot of salty, marinated things with garlic, marinated cabbage + fish(!) rolls.....nothing warm. So we went to nearby cafe. On the second morning, the buffet was not set when we came to dining room. A young lady appeared from kitchen and asked how do we want eggs. Came back with omelette and a "side dish" of "selection from the day before" We had the eggs. Recommendation to owner: 1. Better communication about how breakfast works in your hotel is needed. Just serve very simple cold cuts and FRESH vegetables with bread. OR if you want to provide exceptional service, ask guests to fill in the card with their preferences and breakfast time from available options the night before.2. Print out information about breakfast times and WIFI password and place it in every room.

  : The location is good. Don't expect it's a 4-star hotel - it's a price-matching guesthouse, with very kind service, beautifully decorated living rooms and great breakfast.
  : You must fix the window frame in Room 6. There is a lot of street noise in the rooms, because the windows are damaged and not holding the street noise or cold. In the morning, as rooms are located right next to the kitchen and dining room, you will be disturbed by the kitchen smells. The walls and ceilings of the dining room are strange. But in any case, it's a price-matching accommodation.

  : I liked the location. There were many cute restaurants in the area and it was close to many of the tourist sites.
  : Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. Couldn't speak English.Smelly toilet.We stayed 9 days - the toilet was only cleaned once.A curtain was used as a throw on the bed.No constant water temperature in the shower.Sour milk was given and not replaced.No card machine services- even though it said so online.2 single duvets on a king size bed. Had to ask for another one. We were cold the first night. Only one towell was given, we were 2 guests. No one was avaible to ask for another one.We had to climb 3 flights of stairs with all our luggage to get to our room.Asked for laundry services. Took 3 days to get my clothes back.No tour services as stated on booking.com

  : The property was located 10 min walking from several main attractions. The facilities were really good, and the breakfast was complete and varied.
  : We had mix feelings about the staff, as they were really nice and helpful, however, due to the lack of English it was difficult to communicate with them and in some cases, some people of the staff seemed to be annoyed by giving a service or following up on a request. That made them appeared unprofessional in some cases. However, the overall experience was nice.

  : The location is really great.
  : No one spoke English and our room was cleaned only once during our stay. We were also really excited when we saw all the amazing reviews about the best Russian breakfast etc, so in the end of our stay we were quite disappointed. The first day the breakfast was dry chicken breasts with potatoes (???), the other days the only option was an omelette with tomatoes and pickles. There were no other guests in the hotel so maybe it was the reason.
