  : The location is just off the end Nevsky prospect , so it’s quiet. There are few nice cafes around. Staff - Alena and Alina - are lovely and helpful. You can have a cup of tea in the kitchen area anytime.
  : The beds/ pillows were very uncomfortable. The towels weren’t changed during our 5 nights stay (even after our request).

  : Good location, in Nevsky between two metro stations. Very clean. Everything in the room well thought of, including reading lights and the light in the bathroom. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Facilities to make your own tea or coffee any time of the day, plus the microwave and bonus chocolates and biscuits.

  : The staff were were friendly and helpful.The location is convenient, with an interchange Metro station a short walk away, and the picturesque Alexander Nevsky Lavra a bit further beyond that.There are trolleybusses and busses that take you directly to the heart of the city, though these can be very slow during the rush hour - in these instances, we recommend the Metro - it may be crowded, but it'll get you there much quicker!There are supermarkets, cafes and canteens within 5 minutes walk form the hotel along Nevsky Prospect.
  : The noise insulation in our room wasn't great, especially as the room had windows opening on to Street of Professor Ivanshentsov, so we had noticeable noise from the traffic at night, exhaust fumes and once a strong tarmac-laying smell afflicting the room, despite the windows being shut! It's a small hotel (occupying 2 floors of the stairscase), so they were not able to move us to a room facing the interior courtyard.Additionally, the central heating is centrally controlled, so the room was too warm for most of our stay.Standing room fans were distributed on the last two days of our stay, when the city officially switched to "summer mode". I believe the central heating was switched off at this stage, also.Over our 12-day stay the lack of options for breakfast became fairly noticeable, but there's plenty of excellent & inexpensive options you can get in the cafes and bakeries nearby (I'd like to recommend the canteen at the Alexander Nevsky Lavra).
